Sarah Epsom is a watercolour artist and illustrator who has transformed her passion for art into a thriving small business producing cards, prints, and homeware.
In 2021, while on maternity leave from her career in television, Sarah launched her debut collection, Meliora. This collection proved a resounding success, finding its way onto the shelves of shops across the country.
In June 2022, Sarah received a prestigious commission from the UK's leading wetland and conservation charity, WWT. The project involved creating a bespoke card range, "Apricus" - Warmed by the Sun, showcasing the diverse insect and plant life found in UK wetlands. This unique collection is now available in WWT stores nationwide.
Since then, Sarah has continued to flourish, receiving personal commissions and collaborating with renowned homeware brands such as BlissHome.
Building on the success of Meliora, Sarah has created four further collections: Tropicus, Nativitatis (Christmas), Vita, and Oceanus. The Vita range holds a special place, having been created in collaboration with Work for Good to support the World Wildlife Fund. 5% of all Vita range sales were donated to the cause, highlighting Sarah's commitment to supporting vital conservation efforts. The cards featured critically endangered species and those under threat, raising awareness of their plight.
In April 2024, Sarah successfully hosted a pop-up shop at John Lewis with The Great Brand Exchange. This valuable experience provided invaluable insights into customer preferences and allowed Sarah to directly engage with admirers of her work.
Sarah's work is characterised by its vibrant colours, intricate details, and a dynamic sense of movement. Her paintings evoke a sense of wonder and awe, capturing the beauty and intricacy of the natural world.
Sarah's products are available in shops throughout the UK, and she is currently working on her exciting new 2025 collection while expanding her range of high-quality homeware.
